Tourists need a passport, UAE entry stamp or visa and their home driving licence. If you are a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, an EU country, Switzerland, Turkey, China, Japan, Singapore, South Africa or a GCC state, your home driving licence is valid in the UAE and you do not need an International Driving Permit. Citizens of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Russia, Egypt and most other countries need an IDP together with their home licence. The rule follows your nationality, not where the licence was issued, so if your passport and licence are from different countries, bring an IDP to be safe. UAE residents need their Emirates ID and a UAE driving licence.

The minimum age is 21. For sports cars and luxury models (roughly AED 1,000 a day and above) drivers must be 25 or over. There is no young-driver surcharge; if you are under the limit for a car we will suggest an alternative.

No. NCK takes no security deposit and places no pre-authorisation hold on your card for any car in the fleet, including the Rolls-Royce and Lamborghini models. You pay the rental amount and nothing else is frozen.

Yes. Every rental includes comprehensive insurance. In the UAE a claim is only valid with a Dubai Police accident report, so call 999 (or use the Dubai Police app for minor damage) before moving the car.

It depends on the police report. If you are not at fault (green report) you pay nothing and the report is free. If you are at fault (red report) you pay the insurance excess for your car, which we confirm in writing before you book, plus the AED 520 Dubai Police report fee. Loss-of-use days while the car is repaired are charged as set out in the rental agreement.

Accident damage on public roads is covered with a police report. Kerbed rims, tyre damage, interior damage, off-road or desert use, and driving by anyone not named on the agreement are not covered and are charged to the renter.

Salik gates charge automatically as you drive through: AED 6.30 per crossing at peak times (Monday to Saturday 06:00–10:00 and 16:00–20:00), AED 4.20 off-peak and all day Sunday, and nothing between 01:00 and 06:00. We bill the exact RTA amount with no markup, itemised on your final statement.

Fines are issued against the car and passed on to the driver at the official Dubai Police amount. Rental companies register the renter with the RTA, so black points attach to the driver, not to NCK. Some fines arrive days or weeks after the rental, so we may contact you after you return the car; we always send the Dubai Police record with the charge.

You can drive to all seven emirates, including Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, on the standard insurance. Oman is possible on request for selected cars: the car needs our written no-objection certificate and Oman (Orange Card) insurance, and the Hatta border turns back rentals without them, so tell us before you book. Saudi Arabia is not permitted.

There is no fixed sitewide mileage cap. The allowance depends on the car and how long you rent, and it is agreed with you before you book. Tell us on WhatsApp where you plan to drive (daily city use, a trip to Abu Dhabi, a week of touring) and we confirm the mileage included and any per-kilometre charge in writing.

Cars are delivered with a set fuel level and returned at the same level. If the car comes back lower, the difference is charged at the pump price plus a refuelling charge, which we confirm before you book. Sports and exotic models need Super 98.

Delivery and collection are free anywhere in Dubai, including all DXB terminals and DWC, at any hour. Typical delivery time is 45 to 60 minutes from confirmation, depending on traffic and where the car is. For airport handovers send us your flight number and we track the arrival and meet you outside Arrivals.

We accept cash (AED), Visa and Mastercard, and cryptocurrency (USDT and Bitcoin). Prices are in AED and include 5% VAT. Nothing is held or blocked on your card.
